Luxury bed maker Marshall & Stewart is redefining the luxury sleep experience with the introduction of the Cullinan – a masterpiece of British craftsmanship.
Combining innovative design and traditional techniques, the Cullinan creates an unparalleled sanctuary for restorative sleep. Created using only the finest natural materials, the Cullinan base features two layers of Bonell and pocket springs surrounded by layers of cashmere, needled lambswool and silky horsehair. The mattress epitomises luxury, with a 14-turn progressive spring system encased in sumptuous layers of cashmere blended with hand teased white horsehair.
Brent Cooper, Managing Director of Westend Bed Company said of the new model: “Over the past century we have witnessed countless design innovations that have taken bed comfort to a new level. By combining the innovative design approach with the very finest natural materials, the experts at Marshall & Stewart have created an exquisite bed that goes above and beyond – the Cullinan is born out of the past and the future.”
The Cullinan is part of the Marshall & Stewart Diamond Collection launched in 2011. The beds are the inaugural collection for the luxury bed specialist and are available exclusively from Westend Bed Company in East Sheen. With 30 years of industry experience, Marshall & Stewart is synonymous with exceptional British craftsmanship. Customers visiting the showroom receive a complimentary sleep consultation with a member of the specialist team who analyses current sleep patterns and evaluates the required tension and model required to improve their sleep quality and overall health.
The Diamond Collection models are named after the world’s most expensive and luxurious diamonds. At 3,106.75 carat, the Cullinan diamond is the largest rough gem-quality diamond ever discovered. The largest part of the stone is now mounted in the head of the Sceptre with the Cross; a key piece of the British Crown Jewels.
